When you used his work as references and inspiration for years, and next week… you start working with him and his team!!!!😍😱🙌🏽 #dreamcometrue
Patrick Jouin, Philippe Starcks’ protégé is one of the major protagonists of contemporary design on the French and international scene. Since 1999, his Parisian agency has distinguished itself by the diversity of its activities: interior design, architecture, industrial design, handicraft, scenographies, and street/urban furniture. It’s estimated, that on a typical day of walking around Paris, one encounters a Patrick Jouin design every 350 meters.🤯 He has worked with major companies, such as Cassina, Kartell, Alessi, Puiforcat, JC Decaux, Fermob, Pedrali, Busnelli and Fiam.
In 2009, the Centre Pompidou in Paris held an important retrospective on the work of the designer. In 2010, he received his first solo show in the United States at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York. Nowadays, many of his creations are in the permanent collections of museums worldwide, including the "Solid" collection at MOMA, and The Solid C2 (the first item of furniture to be 3D-printed in one piece), at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. He has been rewarded numerous awards, including Designer of the Year by Maison & Objet and the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in 2011.
Who would have thought that my very first internship in Paris would be with such an acclaimed designer?!🙌🏽🙏🏽💙 #notluckybutperseverant#onesmallstepclosertomygoal#derdpalmundo#isleñapower#interiordesigner
