Tasting Château Angélus 2011 “Le Ciselé”. Classic vintage of the estate by its proportion of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, 2011 has a bright ruby but deep, inky color.
On the nose, the Cabernet Franc grape reveals itself through fruity and spicy notes, closely followed by the Merlot subtle hints of violet flower. After a precise attack on the palate it displays fine, silky, tight-knit tannins as well as a long, minty finish.
Highly enjoyable during its youth, this vintage has a big aging potential and will definitely surprise you ten years from now. 📷 @burcaycantekin#chateauangelus#saintemilion#premiergrandcruclassea
