So many people say they’re wanting to get lean and gain muscle at the same time. Fam if it was really that easy then everyone would be shredded and jacked. You should pick one or the other. If you want to lose weight, be in a caloric deficit. If you want to gain weight/muscle then be in a surplus. Don’t be afraid of gaining a little fluff, as you can see I’m a human loaf of bread. You should also track your food, a lot of people might have “one” spoon of peanut butter but that spoon could be three servings and around 20g of fat. Get a food scale, they’re not expensive! Download an app like MyFitnessPal to track your caloric intake, weigh yourself every morning and based off your weight, adjust calories and macros appropriately. Your weight will fluctuate everyday, don’t let it mess with ya head.. don’t adjust calories everyday, do it once or every other week. Just focus on your goals, eat the way you know should and train your butt off.
