Comin’ atcha with a lil’ #transformationtuesday! 💜🧡💜
There’s about a year and a bit between these photos, and although my size hasn’t dramatically changed like some other transformations on here, it’s still worthwhile to reflect on progress! 🏋️♀️
Recently, I’ve been getting a few questions like...
“How did you get your abs...”
“How did you get your legs to...”
“How long did it take you to...” etc etc
But funnily enough, I don’t actually have the specific answers because I promised myself that I would stop constantly looking for these specific changes. For too long I stared in the mirror to see I could find the slightest bit more definition in my X, Y or Z 🤦♀️. Let me tell ya, literally like watching paint dry!
Lo and behold, the real progress happened without me knowing, because I stopped giving a s**t about what I looked like and fell in love with lifting weights in the process. Don’t get me wrong I am very pleased with the aesthetic outcome, but now my real goals are alllll about the numbers 🤓🤓🤓🤓
Train consistently ✅
Train effectively ✅
Fuel your body properly ✅
Do it cos you love it ✅
And you WILL get results 🤗
At some point we all lose our motivation. It was the beginning of this year where I felt I lost most of my itch to compete. It was a combination of my rebound at the end of 2017 and life events that significantly discouraged me from wanting to push on the gas pedal. I knew that I had to get my act together as soon as I saw the picture my friend took of me on the right — I told myself that I had to get my shit together and I did. From that day moving forward I never looked back. I had to find the strength in me to keep my foot on the gas pedal because no one was going to do it for me. I busted my ass every single day in the gym even when I felt I had no more left in me. — If you have to ask yourself if it can be done again know that the answer will always be YES as soon as you get out of your head and start putting in the work!! 💯😈 #mondaymotivation
