adding bone broth to your pancakes and waffles in place of water isn’t weird or gross, it’s actually kinda genius 😎 why? because you can’t taste it (as in, your waffles won’t taste like a big ole chicken), and you still get all the health benefits of bone broth! i get asked this a lot—what’s so special about bone broth?
the magic is in the slow simmering the bones! when the bones are slow simmered for several hours, they release healing compounds like collagen, proline, glycine and glutamine, which contain all the health benefits (i.e., protects the joints, treats leaky gut, maintains healthy skin, and in my case, got my digestion back on track after years of bulimia and compulsive eating). it’s a part of my daily life! i made this waffle with @bonafideprovisions bone broth, or you can make your own broth at home. i prefer to buy it bc i already make enough of a mess in the kitchen, and i like the ease of having it at my fingertips — but as always, you do you! happy tuesday friends ❤️
