After a week of looking (and feeling) like a whale, I woke up this morning more myself.
I was bloated and watery all week despite being on point with my food. Instead of throwing in the towel, I drank extra water, kept sticking to my macros, and waited. Patience is easily the biggest factor in achieving body composition goals. Putting in the hard work doesn’t mean a thing if you don’t wait long enough to see it pay off.
Diet week one:
🍎 Macros: 135P/225C/50F x 7 (1890 calories)
🏋🏼♀️ Training: only trained twice this week due to infected foot (lol) and coming off competition.
📉 Weight: Average of 58.7kg.
👗 Measurements: didn’t take

Photo shoot last week really reignited my fire. Post workout took a look at the physique and I am really feeling good. I always feel strange hitting poses in the locker room, but I’ll be happy I took this once the shreds are gone! Experience has taught me to really document being lean even on days I don’t necessarily feel it. I am officially the first DBFT assistant coach. When @desb___ reached out to me to see if I would be down for this I was in shock.. I never expected to have an opportunity like this. .
I have wanted to have a few online clients for a long time but I wanted to wait until I became Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Once I past my board exam I was like well, I really should be a CPT too.. so I started working on that. I wanted to make sure I didn’t break my morals or do something I wasn’t certified to do. All DBFT clients will be overseen by both me and @desb___ who you probably already know has a B.S. in Exercise Science and a hell of a business that has helped SO many people reach their fitness/health goals. I have been working so damn hard to continue my education and be the best dietitian/coach I can be. .

Is 360 carbs a struggle for a lil chunk like me? Yes.
But I enjoy every minute of it.
How I push past limiting beliefs and feeling afraid to embrace a building phase is I remember that my goals and ambitions for myself months and years down the line mean SO MUCH MORE than my insecurity about how I look right this second.
So yes I have my moments of weakness.
So does that stop me from my long term goals? HAIL NAW.
But I can proudly say, that I’m confident as hell. #watchmework
