Okay, so I get asked a lot about how to “control” your drinking and food consumption when it comes to the holidays and going out/parties.
I never really hit on it because we really don’t go out as much since we’re not in school. 🍻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
BUT we did this weekend and I usually make my oatmeal shake beforehand. It keeps me full for the longest time + it’ll help dim down cravings. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Did you know oats will give you about 2 hours of slow burning carbs! 🍴
I usually throw it in my shaker bottle w my protein! It’ll just make your shake thicker; honestly I like my shakes better with oats. + @legionath has the mocha cappuccino flavor that is so bomb 💥 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In terms of drinking, I just try to stick to low calorie drinks. Avoid heavy sugar drinks; unless I’m on a cruise. That’s a different story and I try everything 🙌🏽
Oh, did I mention. 75 more days and I’ll be Caribbean bound. 🌴 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
